The Good Dog Sketchbook is a 5.5inch by 8.5inch printed zine illustration collection of various canine characters drawn by Ryan Francis!

As any sensible artist who likes drawing animal characters, I like drawing dogs! You can’t go wrong with a good friendly woofer.

I’ve always wanted to own a dog, but my family was never into that and I now know that there’s a hefty responsibility that I’m not confident that I have the ability to meet right now.

Making these dog characters are always cool to draw because it’s my excuse look at a bunch of dog pictures and marvel and the sheer variety of breeds! To this day, I still think I’ve only scratched the surface of dogs to find online! I hope that through the character designs I doodle, someone else will find a dog that’s also to their liking!
