Earlier in September, I tabled at FAME 2026 in Joliet, IL! It was a good time chatting with creators and fans closer to my neck of the woods!

Like many library shows, it was a smaller event at small spaces of the library. While the event took place on the first and second floors of the building, My and many other creators who are featured in their video interviews got to be at the front door introducing guests to this fine event!

Beyond that, it was a simple time selling my typical wares of comics, stickers and, tablemats while I doodled with my neighbors and chatted about fountain pens and the past years of winter storms.

Overall, I had a great time not needed to drive miles from home to table at a convention and chat with fans. I’d love to volunteer more at shows like these in the future to contribute more to the arts in general. Perhaps you’ll see me on the other side of the table next year?
