It’s been a packed month for me. I’m jumping around working on game dev, a regular job, commissions and fumbling with writing. Often, I feel overwhelmed, but I’m sure it’s just me finally aging to the ripe age of 34. Even with all this, March looks to be the start of the larger year of art creation for me.

Spooky Month has come and gone! I didn’t participate in any art streak events, but I still made a solid chunk of work over this month!
Continue readingNearing the end of summer but not the end of my sketching! I’m fiddling about with new coloring techniques and progress on pixel animation!

Cowardly Lion Warrior I scanned and colored from my sketchbooks. I’ve been tweaking my Copic Marker Digital Brushes to push into more trad-looking artwork. I still use modern convinces like, Clipping Layers and Lasso tools, but I’m pushing myself to hate drawing on the computer less as I go.
It’s the start of summer, so I’m running around with more free time than I’ve had showing art I made this month.

I drew this Cole sketch on the cover of my Moleskine sketchbooks. I don’t like that I wasted a good sketch on a cardboard cover, but I’ll post it anyway and deal with it.
